Parents,

     The increased availability of highspeed internet has led to an increase in the use of popular websites like Myspace and Facebook.  These sites are designed to allow communication between users via online chatting and creation of personnal websites.  Inadvertently the sites have resulted in numerous exposures to online predators.  These types of sites have no educational value.  Therefore district owned computers for student use are not to access these types of sites.  You as parents and/or guardians are your childs first line of defense in monitoring appropriate internet useage outside of school and we appreciate your help.  If you are unfamiliar with the sites the following links may be helpful.
