Digital Portfolios
The purpose of the digital portfolio is to provide the students
with an interactive learning tool that continually builds upon itself.
The students take information from class discussions, lectures, web resources,
textbook, and other sources and develop a digital database that they can manipulate
and expand as more and more information is made available to them. Students can
then utilize this tool for enrichment and comprehension of the subject matter.
This is a cumulative project that will encompass every social studies subject
matter; Oklahoma History, World History, United States History, and Government.
It will also incorporate aspects of Economics, Sociology, Psychology, Philosophy,
Political Science, and the Humanities.
At the end of their time, they will have developed a much greater depth of knowledge in the particular subjects because of their constant exposure to the material and drawing upon a variety of learning styles.
