ENROLLMENT REQUIREMENTS

2007-2008

The following classes are required for all FRESHMEN:

English 1

Physical Science

Oklahoma History/World History (including Humanities)

Algebra 1 or Pre-Algebra (If you take Pre-Algebra this year, you must take Algebra 1 next year)

Computer Science 1

The following classes are required for all SOPHOMORES:

English 2

Biology

U.S. History

Geometry (or Algebra 1 if you did not take it as a freshman in 2006-2007)

NOTE: If you did not successfully complete Computer Science 1 during your freshman year,

you must take it as a sophomore.

If you plan to go to VoTech during your junior and senior years, you should take Government as a

sophomore if at all possible.

The following classes are required for all JUNIORS:

English 3

Government

1 Science Class (Advanced Earth Science including geology, meteorology, and astronomy or Physics)

Algebra 2

The following classes are required for all SENIORS:

English 4

Computer Science 4 (Senior Projects)

COLLEGE ENTRANCE REQUIREMENTS FOR FALL 2007 (may change later this summer for 2008):

4 English

3 Math (Algebra 1 plus 2 more math courses beyond Algebra 1)

2 History (Must include U.S. History)

2 Lab Science

1 Citizenship (Geography or Government)

3 Other (From the above categories or from computer science or foreign language)

OHLAP REQUIREMENTS (Oklahoma Higher Learning Access Program)

4 English

3 Math (Algebra 1 plus 2 more math courses beyond Algebra 1)

3 History and Citizenship Skills

(Must include U.S. History and 2 of the following: Oklahoma History/World History,

Government, and Geography )

3 Lab Science

2 Foreign or non-English language (must be 2 years of the same language) OR 2 Computer Science

(1 foreign language & 1 computer science will not meet this requirement)

1 Additional Unit from the areas listed above

1 Fine Arts (Music, art, drama) OR Speech
